haven't made as many as i would of liked by now but here are three versions of fabric flowers, at the moment using only scrap bits of fabric lying around. I love the red yo-yo flowers and will be making more of those in the same fabric. I intend to buy some velvet soon because i think that all of these designs would look fantastic in velvet and silk. These were my first attempts but i look forward to making and showing my velvet/silk ones here soon...cheers
I'm just a little crafter from the land down under.Incorporating my love of crochet, knitting, felting and whatever else comes to mind......

crochet rose cuff
hi all
Just another new edition to my ever growing crochet/knitted cuff collection. They are so much fun to make and you can let your imagination run wild (haven't really done that yet but I'm getting there). This one incorporates my love of pink and grey with a pretty vintage looking rose attached. I think it would look great with jeans, high heels and a cute top. watch out for more to come soon, I'm going to let my imagination run wild with my next project. this one is up for sale at my etsy store http://www.etsy.com/shop/GetKnitted.
CHEERS.....

my first kanzashi
hello world
I believe that the art of craft is an amazing high, maybe I need a life but I pity those who don't share the passion for any type of craft, be it in the form of fabric, yarn, wool, paper etc. I would also love to thank the internet and all the wonderful people who share their craft with us all. I actually learn t how to do this on the net in one afternoon, what a great era we are living in. My first Kanzashi flower is born, not sure what i will do with it yet but I'm thinking of making a few more and stringing them together to make a necklace.I used Australian cotton from the "French provincial" range, its absolutely high end fabric.I'm just so thrilled with the outcome, please let me know what you think of it, I would also love to see your kanzashi flowers too. Kanzashi rules.....cheers
